sounds like the beginning of a cheesy christian greeting card… but it’s not…

more years ago than i can remember at will, i was hanging out with my friend sean tucker and he had just gotten two new kittens and i suggested names for them and Darth [the black one] and Catspurr [the friendly cat, and the white one] were born… wait, they had already been born but they were named…

years later, sean and i hung out and drank coffee and chatted about church, something that has a name that conjurs up a whole bunch of different things to a range of different people both inside and outside of it – this is that conversation…

okay so i’m not sure if it’s a podcast if i can’t stick it into itunes yet – need to figure out where to find the rss feed (i was listening sean) but i have posted it up on my tumblr page and the link is below if you want to give it a listen and constructive feedback will be appreciated – this one very much mirrored my written thort for the week with some addition but i’m not sure it always will – just got new headphone mic so hoping the quality is a lot better… so please give it a listen and let me know…

which you can check out here

read this post by john of ellis this morning which my beautiful wife val alerted me too saying it was rather good and the message there is exactly spot on. the book ‘unlearning’ is written by my friend sean tucker and his blog is definitely worth checking out as well

take a read here

or find sean’s blog over here – i don’t always agree with everything he says – and i generally enjoy his blog more than i did the book – but i more than often do and he definitely has a lot to say that the church needs to hear with the title of his book ‘Unlearning’ being one of the biggest lessons perhaps…

check it out and let me know if it works… this could be the start of a beautiful relationship… thankx sean tucker…

click on this bit here…

in this amazing book ‘Exiles’ by Michael Frost i am reading i came upon this quote today by antoine de saint-exupery – ‘If you want to build a ship, don’t summon people to buy wood, prepare tools, distribute jobs and organise the work. Teach people the yearning for the wide, boundless ocean.’

if they build it they will come kind of idea – another move in the big what is church wrestling currently taking place all over the world…

my friend sean tucker wrote a great note on this – check it out:
